Today Congress is having a hearing on Roger Clemens potential use of steroids. It is hard to believe that Congress has nothing more important to do than run a "perjury trap" on Roger Clemens. I can understand why the Democrats wasted a lot of time with a perjury trap for Scooter Libby (or actually for any Republican they could catch) but I don't see how getting Clemens does anything for them. Henry Waxman was his usual insufferable self. Apparently we do not have high standards for members of Congress.
