Here is what Barack Obama has to say about National Defense:

"I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems...

...I will not weaponize space...

...I will slow development of future combat systems...

...and I will institute a "Defense Priorities Board" to ensure the quadrennial defense review is not used to justify unnecessary spending...

...I will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons...

...and to seek that goal, I will not develop nuclear weapons...

...I will seek a global ban on the development of fissile material...

...and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert...

...and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenals..."

Basically Obama says he will disarm America. He has said he would not use nuclear weapons under any circumstances. (He might change his mind as the impeachment procedings start, but that will be too late.) I wonder how he will stop fissile fuel development. France and Japan get most of their electric power from nuclear reactors. They may object to dismantling them and installing wind generators. Obama also says he wants to "green" America. The only possible way to achieve significant CO2 emission reduction without a cruel reduction in standard of living is with nuclear power.
