I have written before about the dreadful choices Barack Obama has made in his foreign policy advisers. Now he has made another bad choice with Merrill McPeak as his military adviser. McPeak incedibly blames President Bush for the Anti-Americanism of Iran. Apparently McPeak does not recall the Iranians taking over the American Embassy in Tehran almost 30 years ago, an act of war to which we did not respond. And they committed further acts resulting in the deaths of many Americans long before Bush was even elected Governor of Texas. Obama's choice of advisers alone is sufficient reason to be opposed to him. (I was seated at a table with some Admirals the day McPeak retired, and they did not hold him in high regard.)
