Large Corporations are usually depicted as being right wing in the media. The truth is that most major Corporations are quite liberal in their outlook. They like nothing better than regulations that limit competition, and that bar disruptive technology from the marketpalce. Here is a blog that discusses this in more detail:

One current issue that many large corporations have a view opposite to what is usually imagined is healthcare and the Democrats plans to implement socialized medicine. Corporations want to be sure that they can influence what is done, so they contribute funding to the Democrats, who cynically claim that they will not let lobbyists influence them. Drug companies and other healthcare suppliers may be opposed to socialized medicine, but many large industrial companies would love to turn their healtcare obligations over to the government. GM and Ford, for example, are probably doomed to bankruptcy if they cannot unload on the government their healthcare obligations to their employees and retirees. Without those healthcare costs, which amount to $4000 per car for GM, they can compete with the Toyota's and Honda's of the world. Buyng stock in Ford and GM could be a smart play if you are convinced that the Democrats will be elected to the White House in 2008.
