Politicians talk about "green" energy as if were a panacea that will cure everything that ails our society. They reveal how little they understand technology. To hear leftists tell it we would all be living in a garden of Eden if only evil oil companies had not cruelly prevented the development of "renewable" energy. They have no understanding of the role of capital in producing energy, and seem to think society would be better off if less energy were used.
