Barack Obama is planning energy policies for the United States similar to the "green" policies already put in place by the Labor (ie, socialist) Party in Great Britain. These policies are not working out well for Great Britain which faces severe energy shortages that are now inevitable due to government actions. The same thing will happen in the United States if the energy policies of Obama and the Democrats are adopted. (McCain believes in the climate change hypothesis, but is willing to drill for oil and to build nuclear power plants.)
