Most people have probably never heard of the Cloward-Pivens strategy for destroying a capitalist state. Here is a definition of Cloward-Pivens that I got from Dr. Sanity, who got it from an American Thinker article by Kelly O'Connell:

Cloward-Piven Scheme for Planned Catastrophe: Ominously, in 1966, Columbia University scholars Richard Cloward and Frances Piven published a theory outlining methods to destroy a healthy capitalist economy and force communist revolution. This eliminates capitalism by making impossible state budgetary demands, thereby bringing government insolvency.

A lot of us think that this is the model Obama is using in his attempt to turn the United States into some sort of collectivist state. Those who do no believe that Obama has such designs would still have to agree that Obama's current excessive budget combined with his even more excessive future budget plans could lead to a collapse of the current government. After that some sort of civil war would be almost inevitable. From Obama's standpoint, that might still not work out as he hopes because the collectivists are unlikely to win. To win, it is necessary that they disarm the citizens before the government collapses, and that may prove difficult. For example, today I heard that a lot of the police and military are saying they would refuse to collect citizen's guns if Obama passes a law requiring them to do so.
