Does anyone else find it odd that the story on Senator Craig came out just as the story on Hillary and the Democrats once again getting funding from the Chinese? Naturally the sex scandal pushed the illegal campaign contribution story off the front page. The reason this seems odd is that the Craig arrest was back in June. The Democrats often manage to hold stories like that until the appropriate time. The same thing happened last year with the Foley story. As far as I know, Foley, who was widely known to be a homosexual, has not been charged with anything. But then, Congressman Studds was never charged with anything, and he had sex with a 17-year old page. Studds was a Democrat so he couldn't be accused of hypocrisy. And, the folks in Massachusetts re-elected him several more times. Studds death was untimely as it happened just as Foley was being drummed out. Ted Kennedy highly praised Studds in a speech at the funeral. But, Republican Foley had to go.
