One of the things liberals and socialists like to do is conjure up statistics that put the US in a bad light. This is particularly true in the area of health care, where the statistics show that the US is a terrible place to live while Cuba is wonderful. Anyone who has been to both places (and is not from Hollywood) knows this is not true. The problem is that there is are no universal standards for collecting health data making comparisons meaningless. The US arguably has more demanding standards.
