Suppose a white man herded five black women into the back room of a store and executed them. There would be loud cries about "hate crime." Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would spring into action demanding justice, and calling for new laws. In the actual event yesterday a black man killed five women: I haven't heard what race the victims were, but a photo of one of indicates she was white. Perhaps some of the victims were black, but, if not, will there be any talk of a "hate crime?" I doubt it. The government's position is that only whites can commit hate crimes. Muslims killing Jews or blacks killing whites are not hate crimes. OUr government embraces "multiculturalism" and is "politically correct."
