Nancy Pelosi went over to have a little chat with Assad in Syria. Now the advisers of Hilliary and Obama have gone to see Assad. We have been given no word on what they discussed. (So much for criticism of Bush on keeping secrets.) Obama's man, Zbig Brezinski says the US and Syria have a common interest in stability in the Middle East. That, of course, is true. But, Syria would like to see a Middle East without Israel. Barack Obama says he supports Israel, but Zbig doesn't.

While the Democrats were courting Assad, it happened that the terrorist thug Imadh Mughniyeh was having a meeting with Syrian Intelligence to coordinate terrorists attacks. (The thug was blown up as he left the meeting.) Why would Democrats want to have discussions with MUslims who have a non-negotiable position? They will talk to us, and make agreements, but history shows they are lying to us, and will not honor agreements made. Their religion permits, and even requires, that they deceive us. Based on my observation of recent history, Democrats like all Muslim and socialist dictators.
